Solution If you get the following error, you forgot to set the permissions or set the permissions incorrectly.

Fatal error: Smarty error: unable to write to $compile_dir '/home/usr/public_html/ppcprofitmachine/smarty/templates_c'. Be sure $compile_dir is writable by the web server user. in /home/usr/public_html/ppcprofitmachine/libs/smarty/Smarty.class.php on line 1144 -------------------------------------------

Once PPCProfitMachine is uploaded you will need to change the permissions on the following folders and files to “777” which signifies, read, write and execute permissions - chmod(777).
1. /ppcprofitmachine
2. /smarty
3. /smarty/templates
4. /smarty/templates_c
5. /codelock.php
6. /ppc_parser.php
7. /ppc_config.php
8. /ppc_static.cf
